Harvest Host Location
This orchard is conveniently located off 75 between Flint and Saginaw in Michigan. Very easy to find and less than 7 miles from the highway.
Upon arrival, I went into the big red barn/ farm store and started looking for goodies to buy. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. As you enter the building, on the left you will see the refrigerated section full of fresh fruits and cider. They also had shelves of local products like Michigan maple syrup, jellies/ jams, and candies. To the back of the store is Debbie’s Kitchen with a bakery case full of yummy looking bites. They had doughnuts, muffins, pastries, and cookies. I refrained from letting my sweet tooth get the best of me and I decided to purchase Michigan cherries, fresh cider and maple syrup. The cider was delicious, I stopped on the way out to buy more!
I was escorted to my site in the back of the property. There are several spots marked by picnic tables, with the blueberry fields in the background. These are grass areas, but I found my spot to be level and cozy nestled in the trees. I was invited by the host to pick some blueberries if I wanted. It was a very peaceful, quiet night. I would definitely stay here again while passing through Michigan.
In addition to picking your own fruit, Montrose Orchard does offer tours and seasonal events like hay rides. You can see more on their website linked below.

The campground reviews are my opinion and observations at the time I was at the location. Things may have changed since the date of this post. In depth information and details may be missing/absent. This is meant to be a brief overview and is written based on what I noticed while there.
